Mika Höijer, M. Sc. (Tech.), has been selected to become SLO Oy's new Managing Director as of 1 January 2012. Mr Höijer joins SLO from Draka Communications Group's Multimedia Division wherein he is the Division Director. SLO's current Managing Director, Tapio Jouhki, shall retire having worked at SLO since 1972.
Mika Höijer (44) graduated from Helsinki University of Technology in 1992. For the following decade he was employed at ABB Group in various sales, marketing and purchasing assignments in Finland, Germany and China. Prior to his current position at Draka, Mr Höijer worked as a Director at Draka Mobile Networks Division. Mr Höijer is fluent in several languages: Finnish, Swedish, English and German.
- Mika Höijer has extensive experience in the international operating environment of our industry, which is important to SLO as a member of the Sonepar Group, Managing Director Tapio Jouhki states.

Mika Höijer shall join SLO on 1 November 2011. He will take up the post of Managing Director from 1 January 2012 onwards.
